headlight down. any help appreciated.

ok so i just got my hids (plug n play)in today about couple hours ago and wanted to install them(i only did the passenger side first). theyre 6000k jdl hids i got from jhp usa. i think i might have ripped one of the wire thats on the female part of the headlight connecter that recieves the male plug in from the bulb, because when i turn on the lights only the left side works, i thought i might have connected it wrong so i put back the stock bulb and it still doesnt work ... any idea how much it would cost to fix/replace?? or if its possible to just do some mods with the wire to get it back to normal... iono still new at thiss. thankss.

if you can't get it to go back in you could get a plug from the junk yard and cut the wires and wire the junk yard plug into the wiring and tape them up, or use squeeze clamps to it and it should fix it if that is your problem. I would try to get it back in there myself first though. Any car that has the 9006 bulbs factory should work I would think

You should be able to get the wire back into the socket, if you can't, you can pick up a new 9006 socket and splice it in

Learn how to solder while you're at it...it's a useful skill when talking about tinkering on a car.

I believe so, no reason for the screw to change with the 9006 style.

If I am not mistaken the bulb is what goes in the socket and the plug just snaps into the bulb

advance auto sells the common sockets...9006 and 9005, etc. You can easily solder those in to replace the OEM ones.
