just wanted to check up on your swap. i'm guessing you opted to take it to a shop instead of diving in yourself. as long as they do a good job, you'll be happy. like i offered before, if you have any problems and need help just let me know. i'm pretty sure i ran into every problem possible while doing my swap and even made a few myself. lol.
peace.

yea the swap is doing it and good thing they are too cuz the first motor was fucked up and the engine place wouldnt have covered it if a certified mechanic didnt do the swap.

Matt. Do me a favor. I asked Shawn but he apparently forgot. Ask the performance shop where you have the car. I need a tune. I have a chipped P28. I need to reprogram my ECU and the Vtec controler. I dont know whether they need to rechip it or reprogram the existing chip. Ask them how much. Im looking to have it done in 2 weeks. Im installing my SS pulleys sometime next week, next weekend the latest and then installing the port n polished intake mani. Please dont forget.

u need a hondata s100 or chrome or neptune tunning program to mess with ur P28. unless u get a pre-programmed chip (like a skunk2one) then solder it on.

well the mechanic said i gotta do an oil change every 300 miles for a little bit, because of the slugde buildup in the motor because it sat in a jap junkyard for a while, but after all that, ill probaly seafoam it, clean out the injectors, Dist. cap and rotor, and plug wires.

the idle is kinda low but not a big deal. i just gotta fix some of the bugs in it.

the difference is like night and day. the car pulls so harder in every gear, even if its not smashed. i havent really beated on it yetthough . but i had a little fun with my 2 step launch at traffic lights.

so yea like i said ill get pics up soon. hopefully me h22euro-r and supraman can get a h22crew photoshoot going.

nah. you need a tune. you are running P28 and even though its chipped to H22 base map you need to get your car tuned. then ull get a real kick out of it.
last night I raced a RSX TypeSex. 45mph - 90mph run. I pulled next to him and we both gunned it at the same time. Stared in 2nd and once vtec kicked in I pulled away. 3rd was a stand still and then again once Vtec kicked in a pulled away again. Gear change at 7200rpm. At 95mph I was 3-4 cars ahead. Mind I had 4people including me and I havent installed the pulleys and p&p intake mani and no tune.
Matt next week sunday I think It would be a good day for a shoot. I should have everything in the bay by then.

i dont have a p28. i have an ECU from like a 92-95 non-vtec civic just chipped out with an H22 basemap, my mechanic said i might have the wrong ECU for the set-up.

why havent you installed your shit yet.

ill look the code up, but as of now i know its just some basic ECu from a 92-95 nonvtec civic. could be from an LX, CX, or DX?? but apparently it might be the wrong ECU for my swap, so i might get the P13 i have lying around chipped.

heres a picture.
