There is no reason to buy the ultimate swap guide. You can definaltly find out all this info on here or honda-tech. I am new to acurazine but have been on honda tech for 5 or so years. wireing isn't that hard. Like pala said I would run the p13. I would even wire in the butterflies and egr to work. But I like everthing to run like stock.

make sure if u buy from there to get the 'real p28' dont waste ur time with the other ones. but thats a pretty good deal if its coming with a chrome system already. its costing me $250 to have chrome installed and my car tuned after paying $150 for the chipped p28. SOO do me a favor and ASK the seller if hes going to install the chrome program or just 'prep' the ecu for chrome/uber/neptune.

The conversion harness, $75 is a ripoff. The $40 ebay ones are perfectly fine as long as u secure the ecu to the car properly. make sure u get an OBD2B to OBD1

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/OBD2b...mZ270147431401

i bought from them, all these people get the harness from the same manufacturer but for some reason theres a $20 markup. except from this place.
Crome is a computer program that allows you to edit the map your ecu is running if you burn it onto the chip.
When you say you're having Crome installed, are you sure you're not getting ripped off? If you're paying any money for Crome itself, make sure you're getting the licenced version (Crome Pro) which you can ONLY use on YOUR computer.
It sounds like you're just getting someone with a Crome Pro licence to tune your ecu, which is good. Just make sure you know what you're getting.

Moates.net and Xenocron.com are the two best sites to get ecu related stuff from.

yea even though ill void the motor's warranty (in case its all fucked up) im still gonna do the swap myself. even though the wiring is gonna be such a nightmare.

worst comes to worse i have it towed to my local speedshop. even though getting my car on a flatbed is gonna be a project within itself. ill have to take my bumper and exahust off just to get it on a flatbed with no damage.

arite cool. i can take my IM apart, no biggie.

im having some dude on Honda tech that lives close to me help me on the swap. all he does is swapp H22's into his civics and such, and does H2B swaps as well. so hopefully with his guidance this swap will be less of a headache, wiring wise.

doin swaps into civics is less wiring because of our gayass distributor. but harder because of the axles n such. but having experience will save u. i just put a h23 tranny in my car. holy moly the car pulls in 1st and 2nd. my 3rd gear doesnt work, so im waiting to change it out again

major set back in the swap. i have everything i need, but last night when trying to do the H23 manual tensioner conversion, i couldnt get the crank bolt off for the life of me. we had a 1000lb-ft air gun, but the compresser we were using is like 50 years old, so we couldnt get the full potential of the gun. so tommorow were getting a better compressor from a friend.

i should have had the tensioner conversion done last night, so i could have started pulling the F22 out on friday, but theres always that one set-back.

got my ECU and conversion harness today, and im pretty souped about that. went to xenocryn to pick it all up and had them set the ECU to 8g's and 4500 for the 2-step.

got my DC Sports 4-2-1 header from H22-EuroR the other day. so right off the bat im gonna have I/H/E.

ill keep you guys updated.

Sweetness, hope you don't have any more major set backs, I'm sure you will cuz that's the way of doing custom work. Let us know how it goes.

Sweet, almost there! Would you be willing to help me do my swap once you're done with yours? I got the money for all the parts u listed, but not for the labor so I'm hoping someone will help me out.

8k is what i normally hear people setting their rev limiter to. My friend actually set his to 8200 in his accord to give him some leeway of hitting the rev limiter
