What type of motor can I swap into my Acura CL 2.2 1997 because I am a newbie.

welcome, and use the search its your friend, that and the newb thread at the top of this forum.

h22 is the most swaped engine, and the one you will see discussed most around here, one guy also used an euro accord type r i think... just sligtly diff specs.

this seems to be the most cost effective and easiest one, although there are still many issues to be delt with when doing engine swaps.
