well my car just like died a couple days ago.... like i was driving and everything turned off all power everything......turns out that my ignition fuse blew and that it was caused by my remote turn on wire that i tried to splice into the deck and it shorted everything out.....bleh i brought it in and they told me that and that my car was actually part of the ignition recall so they did that and they told me i needed a new transmission too so i'm waiting on whether or not my warranty thing covers it.... hopefully it does.......i'm so sad.....

you have pretty good luck if they replaced it even though it was your fault. I believe that your tranny should be covered under an extended warranty if you bought one. Good luck

 

Hey man I just phucked up my tranny this weekend. I bought the extended warranty when I bought the car a year ago and they told me that it did cover my transmission. So I'll be getting a new tranny by this weekend courtesey of my Acura Car Care. Good Luck!

well they are covering my tranny the estimate on it was 5500 dollars............man that's so much i'm glad i bought that 3 year 1500 dollar warranty acura

 

5500 just for the tranny? good lord thats a lot of money!

wouldn't it be cheaper just to get another engine that included a transmission for example a h22a?

 

y would u go from a v6 to an inline 4? 6 cyclinders last longer than 4 bangers. in the long run the v6 will be the better way to go.
