I picked up a spare F23 from a totaled out still running Honda Accord so I decided it was about time to start a project. Already have everythin I need to boost the motor accept the time. When the semester ends I will be able to go forward with my project.

Here is some of the stuff I have waiting on me to put together.
http://photobucket.com/bgsrmyth

Ill be test fitting some of the parts next weekend on my spare motor to see how it all fits.

Gonna sell the motor as a whole. Eventually. I don't have a lift or anything right now to even pull it out.

Current projects are detailing, polishing and waxing the 4Runner and CR-V for winter, winterizing the CL and putting her away for winter, and figuring out wtf the rattling on my front driver side is everytime I hit a bump

Very nice Chris. Can't wait to see it completed. Sometime this summer, we're going to have to have a meet. Sometime that's not a car audio competition weekend. Although the competition schedule has thinned out quite a bit since last year, so it should be do-able.

^nice, usb or ipod hookup is all you need
i had usb on mine, and i never used cd's or the radio on the HU at all
so much more convenient
you should run your cables for those to the compartment under the armrest, so stealth and easy to access

Yeah, I originally planned to buy the 6 disc dvd in dash unit, but I don't drive the car enough to need that, let alone with all the other inputs. As you can see the HU is not mounted yet, the cords are run that way just to test out the ipod interface and play around with it. I still have to modify my double din kit and get the HU properly mounted, then the wires will be run correctly. I also have to run wires for the backup camera and video outputs, so I have some work left to do, but I spent so much time getting the bypass relay wired right and getting the harness wired up, plus charging the car, that I had to take some pics when playing with my new toy.

Car is gone tomorrow. Stupid bitch haggled the shit out of me. $450 for the remainder of the car.
I've already made $700 off of it before that, so I'll be at 1,150 before selling the enkeis. I may yet hit 2k. And that bullshit mechanic only offered me $500 for the car. I know I could make more, but I don't want it in my driveway anymore, hurts too much to look at.

Juggling lots of projects in the air right now, waiting for some stuff to come in and some other stuff to go out, I will put up some updates as soon as I have them, work on the car has been slow since garaging it.

I'm almost done with projector retrofit.. FINALLY
I have no doubts everything will be put together tomorrow afternoon (not tonight because I'm letting some jb weld and some putty cure before I seal everything up)
Also waiting on some uv spray for the headlight lenses, but that can be put on after the install.
They will be on the car tomorrow or Monday, depending on how long I let the sealant sit and when I can get a friend to help me with the bumper. I'm not doing it myself this time, because I scratched the hell out of my fender last time, trying to line the bumper up.
I really wanted to keep the chrome look inside the housing, but it didn't turn out that way. More to come soon.

this last picture is the relay, bulbs (in packages) and ballasts

shitty cellphone pics, but you get the idea. i'm still going to have to do some final polishing and uv spray later, but for now, i just want to get these babies on.
friend is coming over soon to help out with the bumper, but it looks like we won't have any sunlight. so that should suck.
i will get better pictures probably tomorrow, once they are on the car and there is sunlight.

Honestly I don't even remember. I spent a few years gathering all this stuff piece by piece, because I didn't have any money throughout college and I've had no time to put it together. I'm on break right now and decided to get it done, even though it's not perfect.

Everything I used for the project:

Dremel
Screws
Silicone to reseal the headlights
Metallic ? tape because I scratched the hell out of one of the housings and had to cover it up
Electrical tape to project some of the wiring
Vent stack roof flashing, which I cut the shrouds out of
Plumbing pieces that I used as bezels
Relay
JB Weld to seal up some cracks in the housings and to secure the screws
Magic Putty to attach the bezels to the projos
Sandpaper, polish, and uv spray for the headlight lenses
Extra set of headlights - used
Tsx projectors - used
Philips ballasts and bulbs - used (I think both Philips, bulbs may be something different)

Obviously the only things that were substantial were the headlights, projectors, ballasts and bulbs. You can get decent deals on used HID equipment on hidplanet.
It was a lot more work than I expected, but everything is in and works great. I still have to aim them, but it's like 25 degrees out, and being outside sucked.
I will hopefully get them aimed tomorrow and get some good pictures.
