Current PROJECT you're working on
Damn i can't even find a picture of them on Google, they must be rare lol.
i don't get itthey seem like probably a good wheel, but 7 inch wide and +45 offset...
to each their own
let's see some pictures of these, tried searching and could only find the s1&2 and the n1 and gt1 by Black Racing... and their GT1's look like Enkei RPF1's, and there s1's look like Advan RG's...
i dont think so. i think im just gonna clean the hell out of them and leave them alone.
thanks for finding the picture. the kid took pictures down after i bought them.

Look what else was in that box:

And how they currently sit:

Gonna be running to a store for some paint and sealant here in a bit. Then it's back to work and getting these babies done. They've been a huge pain so far (took about 6 hours to get apart), but they should be worth it in the end...
Thoughts?

Those are ghettoninjas upside down projos right? and 6 hours to open em?! the bumper takes no more than like 20 minutes, and opening the lights is easy if u prebake them and let the sealent get hot so you can pry them apart. Unless you can't prebake because of the projos o.O?
Anyway, Nice job, and I can't wait to see the outcome. I hope you get it all figured out. Sealent is a pain if you get it on your clothes btw lol.

Yes, they're Fred's.
See above. And yeah, 6 hours to get them baked (12 minutes at 200 degrees), pulled apart, and taking everything apart so I can re-use it, so I had to be careful. If I wasn't re-using everything, I would've been done in 20 minutes.
And yeah, I know how to get mine off and these on. I blackhoused my headlights awhile back, so I know how to get the bumper on/off. Not exactly easy with big fat fingers/hands like mine, but definitely not a long process.
Thanks, and I also look forward to them being done. And the stock sealant is a pain if it gets on your clothes. Working in old ass clothes ftw.
Anyway guys, I'll have a complete build thread up (hopefully) later tonight, but I guess we'll see. I just got done eating some dinner, now it's time to get these babies finished.

Passenger's headlight was done last night (Ignore the 3 lights shining on the front, that's the light over the table I was working on):

Driver's light is still drying, but is now done:

And yes, this time, they're the right side up

Most of the hard work, yes. But 3 of the 4 mounting points on the passenger's side one came loose so it wasn't all gravy. So when are we going to have that OH/PA meet?
Nice job on those Saiko. I was kinda wondering what was going on when we went from 1 n00b guide to a handful. But I like the way they're set up now a lot better. Much easier to look for certain info.

Now that I've got the CL on the road for the summer, I have a few days of projects lined up.
Remove mudflaps (Already done)
Replace broken rusted license plate brackets (Already done)
Modify double din dash kit for Pioneer Double Din touchscreen
Wire all speakers with crossovers to the highs amp already mounted in trunk
Finishing touches on my homelink conversion, including fabricating buttons and bracket modifications.
Mount fog lights to current bumper since it doesn't appear I will be getting a new one yet
Mount ww lips temporarily so that I can rock them for the summer
Get an alignment (should be interesting given how low the car is)
Get tires installed on 18" rims and install rims with custom centercaps and lugs.
Possibly more if the money fairy appears and gives me money

Haha, nah. As I said in the other thread that was ignored, I'm going to australia in the spring, for a year, so I don't want to continue paying off the remainder of my loan on the mazda3 while I'm away.
I found my old car on craigslist for $350, rims tires, and camber kit still on it... so I might buy it back and keep the spare parts baha. But we'll see what happens this weekend when I look at the car. It would be much better for me to not have a car payment. Plus, it'd be nice to drive a CL without a messed up steering rack!

When I get out of work around 12-1pm, I'm going to shoot this guy a call and drive out to check the CL. I will bring my camera for proof, granted he picks up the phone again.
