Completing Tune-up

Hey guys
Well so far, I've changed my plugs, wires, cap+rotor and air filter.
Now i just need the fuel filter.
Any suggestions, as far as brand?
And it seems like a biatch to remove. How could i replace it? do i need to remove it from underneath, or can work with it from the top of the engine?

And i'm also considering the "seafoam" treatment, but i'm concern of messin' up the cat, and won't that burn some of the valve seals? i did some research but i'm still not very convinced (50/50). The engine has 135k miles and seem a little sluggish driving up hill.

Any help would be great

Yea dont bother to change the fuel flter, I changed mine before and its not worth the effort. If you do decide to change it, then use the nippon brand (OEM) and make sure you tighten all the bolts really tight because you sure dont want any leaks.

You''ll see a noticable difference in gas mileage. I think it's well worth it. You should change it every 30,000 miles anyways. I don't know where it's located on the four bangers, but on the 3.0's it's located right where everyone said it was. Along side of the firewall by the driver side. It's really easy to do, and will only take about 30 minutes. The only bitch about it is, you end up pretty much laying on your engine which sucks to get to it. But an easy task nevertheless.

3.0s are very easy
2.?s are extremely hard
The only good thing about blowing engines is that I could replace mine while the engine was out.

i've done it on a few civic and integra and its the exact same place as the 3.0. behind the engine on the firewall. before it run into the fuel rail.

Cocoa, I know your the expert, but I swear mine is on the passenger side firewall. Oh well, been thinking about changing mine too.

As for SeaFoam, that will not hurt your car. See the DIY or go here for instructions on its use.

Hope this helps.
