Check Engine Light

Is there anyway to reset the Check Engine Light ??? I know that if I disconnect the battery, it goes off, but... then comes back on? I have already tried the paper clip method to get the code. Any ideas?

To reset "check engine" light, try holding down the odometer set button down and keep holding it down for 60 seconds when starting up the car. If you hold it for 60 sec, then I believe the engine light turns off.

you would have to bring it to a mechnic and he will hook a little computer thing to the connector behind your ash tray and delete the error or something

I think that this is only applicable on SOME digital odometer buttons

pop your hood and open the fuse box under the hood. Then remove the radio backup fuse for a few min. That should take care of it.
