i like the 1st gen CL and all but the one thing i do not like is the back end.

are there any good pics that make the back-end look alot better. i was gonna get a 1st gen CL with the spoiler and i still was a little iffy about it. i ended up getting a 1st gen TL instead, which im glad because its alot bigger.

i am not bashing or being negative just expressing my opinion and wondering if anyone has hooked up there back end so it looks hot?

wow i think our back end is what sets the CL apart from many cars, its jsut soooo smooth

i love the my cl's ass now.
thoght about gettin rid of the wing to get a cleaner look, but i felt my molded lip wasn't big enough to offset the small size of the rear. the wing helps. if i molded an accord kit i think my wing would be 86'd. all star's (benard) looked great without a wing for example.

 

that lip in the rear is the best looking one i have seen, does the side look the same?

Hell yeah, i love my rear. I always brag to my friends how my 1st Gen Cl has the biggest ass! Its huge. It curves around both sides of the car. Smooth and sexy!!

When my parents first got my CL, I didn't like the rear end. I thought it was really ugly and would have never considered owning it. But after about 2 years my mom got tired of it and told me if I wanted it. After that I looked at the CL differently. I guess as the years passed by the rear of the car began to grow on me. Now when I see my CL I totally love it. Front to back, I think it's hot. Like someone said on here, it's what sets us apart from the rest. So just give it some time and it will grow on ya. Just dont put a spoiler on it. My dad put one on mine back when my mom was driving it to try and make it look better. But in my opinion the cleanest CL's look better without any type of trunk spoiler!.

 

i still have the G - as a matter of fact almost traded it in for a new range rover, but i cant see going with a ford vehicle.
i am posting about the back ends of CL's not what i drive.
