Anyone know SoCal shops that sell and install hood pins on the spot?

impex or supervip most likely could. Personally, I dont think the hood pins are necessary...i've had my hood for almost a year and never had any problems. i've gone as fast as 120-130 with the hood on...so personally i think its fine. hood pins are ugly as hell too

yeah i heard that you only need hood pins for cheap ass CF hoods. VIS made the hoods with an OEM latch that locks down like an OEM hood so i thought it would be safe too.
when i drive around 60-70, the hood lifts up a tiny bit so thats it not aligned with my fenders. i don't hear any rattling really, maybe i dont pay attention, but i know for sure the hood rises when i go fast because the air goes under and lifts it up (there is some room for the hood to move up and down, even though its locked).
what do you guys think?

Hood pins are very nessacary at my dads shop a kid ddint want hood pins, he came back 2 weeks later with no hood, it came up on him at about 90mph on an over pass smashed his windsheld and after that he needed a new cf hood and windshield. My friend with a prelude has a cf hood and when we are on the highway you can see it moving like crazy, i dont know but if im getting a rare cf hood and spending that money i would def hit hood pins

Locking Pins:
just paint the silver washers black???
Carbon Fiber: (IMO its fake and would look shitty ontop of the rear CF....prob. woudnt match up very well together)
Basically just go to www.Jegs.com or other places and u can order them. I plan on ordering the locking pins in silver, and then painting them black
