cause its a 3 peice grill compared to the 98 and up ... if u wanted to add mesh its alot easier to do because it comes apart

see i dont like the chrome on mine, i just want the "A" on the front, cuz i have the white "A" emblem on the trunk and i want the back to match the front, and with the 97 grille you would have to tear the chrome apart, and with the 98up you wouldnt have to do all that

I think the 98/99 grill makes the car look more luxurious/expensive!

I think 97 grills look more like the current grills on other Acuras because of the horizontal piece.

The "wings" give the 97' grill more character. Not as plane as the 98'/99' IMO.
