Howdy ya'all,

I recently bought a 97 acura factory installed cd player to replace with mine that wasn't working. The radio on this player works just fine, but it won't play any cds or cassettes. it does read the tracks but just doesn't play it. now, after carefully looking at it i found out that the manufacturing date on this player was 98 and the one that i had had 96 mfg date on it. both are factory installed. I have no clue what could be happening. Any ideas please... any help is appreciated....

okay. i figured something out here. the new player is not bose specified, it is an acura though and i think it doesn't turn on my amps while the other one since it was bose factory installed must have something built-in that turns on my amps. Now, i need to figure out how to turn on my amps??? any ideas...
