Another INtake question

Does the 94-97 accord intakes fit our car perfectly-as in without need for any molding or manipulation? Or would one have to do something to the intake for it to fit exactly?

And also..I'm thinking about bidding on this:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...478197023&rd=1

I know intake questions have been asked a thousand times. Thanks for any input.

If you're already going for $160 + shippping, hit up the v2....there have been reviews about it, and say that it's worth it.

I believe that it will go in exactly without modification, considering that both cars use a f22 engine.

no modification nessasary... just bolt it up.

if youre going to pay ~150 for 1-3 hp and a nice sound might as well drop the extra 50 or so bucks and get 5-10 hp

disconnect the battery

then install

then let the engine run for 10-15 mins without revving at all

this reset's the ECU for the new intake

good but not totally correct.. You need to pull the ecu fuse and the radio backup fuse (both under the hood), put em back in THEN let the car idle for a spell.

I think so, some idiot guy did work on my car cuz my pops new him and just disconnecting power in general to take off the check engine light did the work, he even tried to punch some random numbers so i had to pull that old, let the radio idle for 1 hour then punch the code in... last time that guy touches my car!

yep

can be found in the manual or in your trunk or under the fuse box cover or on the side of the glove box or stuck somewhere else... or it might not be there at all and u have to pull out your radio and look at the serial number on the back of the radio and then call the dealer.

not a big deal, it will just make your car run a tad better if you do.
