AEM V2 Quick Question

I was just wondering if this is the correct intake that will fit my car. It's a 97 3.0. Also, when searching I found mention of bypass valves, are these needed? Thanks in advnace.

I dunno about the 3.0 but on my 99 2.3 all you do is take out the stock air hoses, put the V2 in, and you have to re-run 1 vac line (goes to a nipple on the V2) and 1 coolant line, didn't have to do any valve stuff.

spencer-homer is right about the BPV. AEM V2 Induction Systems have a dual chamber to create multiple frequency sound waves. Putting the BPV on would fuck up the tuning of this set-up, and most the time the tube diameter of V2 systems are larger than the maximum size of the BPV making it impossible to install.
Any other time w/ a CAI.... i def. suggest using the BPV, cause no 1 likes a hydro-locked engine...

You can't install a BPV on the V2 they don't make them for the V2.
