My 2nd Issue...
Hello!
Well after resolving my first issue on my new 2007 MDX Tech & Enter now I have the infamous 6 cd change Alpine crap with a CD stuck. When I got it I didn't know the CD player wasn't working right so I in all my ingenuity decided to pop in my glorious Linkin Park Hybrid Theory original CD in to hear the 10 speaker system.
The CD started playing alright but after a while I got bored and decided it was time to get my pristine CD out... Disaster the CD Player would not eject the CD and now I cannot even use the CD portion of the stereo as the button will not do a thing.
Well I leave it there.. BUT Today I decided to install my new Window Tint in the X in the front to match with the original all around tint, The clerk needed to keep the key on position II for about 10min so it could lower and raise the window to make his work, Little I did now that my battery wasn't in the best of shapes and it quickly discharged to the point the car could not start and the stereo wanted the code in.
Code In.. OH LORD Now EVERY TIME I open the door the stereo goes into a horrid mechanical loop in the CD portion that last an agonizing 15-25 seconds until it stops, EVERY TIME!!! Its driving me nuts....
How the hell do I stop this madness? Pls do not mention Honda/Acura dealerships as they will want my left nut to replace the entire Stereo Assembly which is part of the Nav and Entertainment system = $$$$
Has anyone disassembled the Stereo Unit to remove the CD Manually? I did this on a the older 6 CD Stereos that were standalone but I have never tackled the new "Entertainment Stack". Any hints or procedure? I just want the mechanical Noise to stop, I can live without my Precious Linkin Park CD.

Sorry to hear Sir! If you have not already, I highly recommend you check out mdxers.org. I go to both sites to help diagnose/diy things for the X. Here is a link I found regarding removing navi.
Navigation Screen Replacement - Acura MDX Forum : Acura MDX SUV Forums
I didn't dig much, but I'm sure there are other threads that may help you out!
