i been having this emission light on for like a year. I changed all components except for hoses from the canister to the valve. Hose look fine to me, couldnt fine anything on smoke test. Anyone has any idea on what it could be?.. i do sometimes once in a blue mean may range with rapidly drop 25-50 miles and then go back up after a while. Is this a common problem because my girl friend has a 14 tsx and has the same light going off

 

read the code and report back, it'll tell you which component is not working properly.

I had the same problem, did smoke test and no leaks, changed purge valve, checked all the lines. Turns out it was the gas cap but the smoke test missed it because we smoked it from the gas tank filler neck.

 

gas cap is a very possible culprit.

 

I bave changed the gas cap also.. got a smoke test but nothing popped up.

 

Any possibility of 02 sensors?
