This is what 20yrs

of dust will do to a light fixture in the bathroom

so a florescent bulb went out in my bathroom and i replaced it and noticed that it was still really dark in the bathroom. I looked at the cover and thick layer of dust on it. I cleaned them off in the bathtub and man what a difference.

the left panel is the cleaned one.

I'm one of those types that goes around removing light enclosures and panels just to clean them every couple-three years. I get worried that too much dust will collect and short out wiring.
