Window Tint - how long to wait for bubbles to clear out?

got window tint done on back windows...35%.

the rear window has some small bubbling but note that I got this done
July 12th 2013..so as of today, its been less than a week. Also, there are maybe about 4 places where some sort of dirt/lint is trapped in tint.
Of course, this is not noticeable from inside the car and you would see it from the outside only if you were about 3 feet away.

it was done at one of the best tint places in the city - they have been around for over 20yrs doing this.

www.phsolartint.com

...anyways, will this eventually clear up or should I go visit the place to inquire?

EDIT:

I have to add...the car, when purchased, came with 5% on the back 5 windows and it was removed professionally late last year. They steamed off the tint and then wiped off the remaining glue ... not sure if this could have affected this second tint process but the residue was completely taken off.

^ya'll are weird. LOL

it'll dry out.
good thing its summer time. HEAT WAVE.

depending on what kind of material was used; it can be thicker than some other materials of tint and will take LONGER to dry.
IIRC, my tint took close to three weeks to a month to dry.

Did anyone from the company tell you how long to expect before it dries completely? As justnspace said, it's been really hot lately so if it takes long than normal they should have warned you of that.

No..aside for the usual 'don't roll down windows for 48hrs'.

I'll go by there tomorrow just to get them to tell me it's all good.

Average temps here are 25 Celsius / 77 F daytime...car in garage in evenings.

I have had a lot of cars tinted and from my experience those look like the kind of bubbles that will not go away from the drying process. I could be wrong, but I think your gonna have to get that rear window redone.
And yah , 77 is practically cold compared to the temps we have seen here the last few days lol.

What kind of tint is it!?
the material and brand please

my Huper Otik ceramic tint took about 3 weeks to fully dry out.
I dont remember if it was hot or cold at the time of install, but in the summer months the Texas sun aint a joke

a FAQ off their website:

*I believe they use 'LLUMAR' tint www.llumar.com

http://www.phsolartint.com/Gallery.html
and they've done LOTs of cars including probably a few 100 TLs.

Warranty

All automotive window tint installations at PH Solar, include a limited lifetime warranty, that protects you from defects in the installation or window film.

Drying time

Drying time will be approximately 7 days, it is suggested you do not wash your windows internally during this period. It is best to leave tinted windows capable of moving untouched for 2 days to allow the films adhesives to activate.

Cleaning Window Film

Cleaning should be done using a non-abrasive window cleaning solution, and wiped off with a soft towel or a micro fiber. Windex, alcohol or ammonia should not be used. At PH Solar, we offer a premium glass cleaner that is safe for all window tints.

Common Defects Misinterpreted

After the installation of window films, certain vehicles may have a series of dots around the edge of the rear window. This is also known as the dot matrix, and is applied on the glass by the factory. When the window film is placed on top, you may notice a hazy area until it is fully dried. This is a minor but unavoidable misinterpreted defect.

Our professional installers guarantee their best installations, but as an aftermarket installation, there may be very minor and unnoticeable dust particles depending on the cleanness of the vehicle.

Give it about a month to dry out, it will take that long because it's not that hot there, that's all you're going to get from the dealer right now.

I think hot weather helps it dry faster doesnt it? hotter air is less dense air and faster moving molecules

My ceramic tint took a bit over a month to get rid of all the bubbles with that kind of temperature. That being said, even right out of the shop it was not THAT bad in terms of bubbles...

I think 2-3 weeks is pretty standard for it to dry out, add a week for arctic Canadian weather.

Keep it in the sun as much as possible and the bubbles should go away. As far as the dust/ lint goes, it's there for life unless you take it back and get it redone. The tint shop will redo it if you're not satisfied. Customer satisfaction is what has kept them in business that long, I'm sure.

One of the side windows had about 7-8 spots..tiny..but spots of dirt trapped under the tint..so they redid that.

they looked over the rear window... heated it up a bit to see if it could be fixed up but later decided to redo it.

i'll take a good look when I get home... but I think they 'rushed' it last time around.
