Question Clock is out, how to disconnect it?

the display above of my nav screen where is shows the clock/ AC controls/ radio is out or flickering sometimes like many others have reported here. The main purpose of this thread is to find out how to freaking take that panel out! i have tried force, digging my fingernails, and a coat hanger. After failing to use the hook of a coat hanger I have given up. I need to know the tips for exactly how to remove the part. I have seen the scans they are just clips.

the clock comes on when you give it a Han Solo jab but only for a second. since it is where the AC blows I am pretty sure the problem is due to dust and some electrical spray cleaner will do the job.

I will report on that later but some one please help me take this off with out smashing it to pieces.

never mind...i got it out by first removing the silver trim around the stereo. I used the screw driver method and pried it out. I used some electronics lubricant and it fixed the issue.
