04 TSX wheels on 06 MDX, will it work?

I have a set of TSX wheels that I want to put on my MDX. (Just got today)
Will the 55 offset of the TSX wheel work/fit the MDX? Anything else I need to know about?

The TSX wheel is
17x7
+55 offset

I think the MDX is
17x6.5
+45 Offset

And can I take the TPMS off the stock MDS and put on the TSX wheels?
Thanks for the help,

Looks like you are going to lose some caliper clearence by using a higher offset. Check out this calculator:

http://www.1010tires.com/WheelOffsetCalculator.asp

I would suggest test fitting one wheel, torque the lugs and just make sure the wheel spins freely without any obstruction.

The TPMS sensors can be put on the TSX wheels.

I don't know the answer, but I'd like to see the pics if they work. I've been looking for another OEM wheel option.

So far this is the best wheel I've came up with.

im going to try to bolt them up this weekend and see how they fit. What do you think it will look like with 245-50-17s?
are the bore sizes the same on the tsx and MDX?

It also looks like the tires you would be using are a tad small.

The stock tire in this picture is the outline, the new one being the dark area.

Edit: removed incorrect information.

Ya, I know the tires are to small.
If the bore on the MDX is bigger cant I just use the hub spacers?

Also, if the wheels do work, what do you think about a 10-15mm spacer? I see some that are made for the MDX that are hubcentric and the correct size. the spacers would be to make up for the 10mm offset differance of the TSx wheel.

With 10mm hub-centric spacer you will also need to purchase extended lugs. I removed the incorrect information i posted in this thread.

Are the studs easy to swap out? there is one that I found that is hubcentic and bolts on. with the extended studs would I be able to use the stock wheels without the spacers?

Here is a diy to get you started on getting extended lugs:
http://www.hondatuningmagazine.com/t...uds/index.html

I am not sure if you can use the stock lug nuts with the stock wheels and extended studs because they are closed and may not tighten all the way. You may need to purchase open ended lug nuts to put your stock wheels back on.

CRN808, I'd go with another wheel option - you'll get vibration from the spacers and frankly the end result of the TSX wheel on the MDX won't look right.

I thought about the same thing when replacing both our TSX wheels and MDX wheels...I elevated the TSX wheels to align with the MDX hub, got down at eye level with the wheels and it didn't look very appealing. The TSX wheels look too "sedan-ish" for the MDX.

The Honda Ridgeline shown has a 5 x 120mm bolt pattern, it won't fit the 5 x 114.3 hub for the 2006 MDX. Below are some better OEM options in my opinion...I also recommend 18"-20" aftermarkets...here's a pretty good aftermarket wheel "Need 2 Know" guide I created for this board.

2007-2009 Acura RDX 18" wheel

2007-2009 Acura RDX 19" wheel

Cheap spacers can have a problem, The good ones are hub centric and won’t have any balance issues. I’m defiantly not diggin the RDX wheels. I am going to bolt up the TSX wheels and have a look-see. If they don’t look that good I’m going to go with a TSW wheel. I will post some pics of the TSX wheels if they don’t look that bad.
