Yeah, it's not really a native app, it just adds an icon to your phone but really opens a browser to their site. But it works just like an app would. It's still really easy to use.

I suggest registering (because it has to store all of your fuel-ups, otherwise how could you keep track?) and trying it out at least once. I think you'll like it.

Oh good! Yeah I use iPhone and it always had odometer entries for me.

You also need to get your keyboard looked, specifically the M button

Hey! No, I haven't ordered it yet. I'm assuming it will fit based on that topic I linked. I don't have any long travels with it for a month or so... so I likely won't order it until mid-Sept ish...

Hopefully I can find a crappy tire and the price of the wheel and get out the door for $300.

The spare is definitely worth the effort. I've not had to use mine, but I'm old school and having that peace of mind is meaningful to me. Not to mention, I still know how to install a spare.

Same here. People are like, just get a can of Fix-A-Flat and I'm like... dammit.... leave me alone... I want an extra tire just in case!

Vids JB?! Sounds awesome!

I've always carried a spare on my car, but I haven't changed out a tire because of a flat in over 10 years (knock on wood). But I've plugged more tires than I can remember. I even ran a plug on the V in the first week.. one of the biggest ones to date.

Still holding strong. I keep the dash on tire pressure though bc paranoid of da powah!

I definitely need one. I will be traveling over 5k miles in the next 3 months outside of my regular commute for work. My V will be getting a heavy does of miles right away from the get go. The first month alone will see 3k of those miles.

Same. I bought a plug kit when I had the F cause the tires I ran on the aftermarket wheels were special order only. You can't get the size in stock at any tire place. I plugged 3 different times while having the car. One in the pouring down rain at 2am. In fact that was the most recent and is still holding. I will keep one with the V as well but the piece of mind for having a spare is worth every penny.

as soon as I saw the sky in that picture as it was loading I knew exactly what car and wheels you were posting. Damn those would suck to clean but they do look good on the wagon.

^ LOL. Yeah, would suck to clean but not my daily, so shouldn't be too terrible. But it's more the look I'm going for. I like the Z28 wheels, but I think they're just a bit too much. The Vagon is a site to begin with, I think those wheels put it a bit over the top... so when I saw those and that color I was like... that may be the winner!

Quick wash yesterday AM. One of the nicest mornings we've had here since like March... upper 50's, low humidity... it was so nice. So took advantage and did a quick clean up before the sun came up over the trees...

Can't tell if they're gun metal or the exposure of the photo is just low. LMK if they're supposed to be darker.

Yeah, I snuck those rocker blades in and a few other little things. She's onto me now. I did get permission to buy the new Corsa intake since group buy pricing is pretty reasonable, but some people are having small install issues so I am going to hold off. Really want to get the front splitter next to complete the "lip" look. Then next year we'll see what happens. We are in contract to buy another place at the beach... so that may push anything large like wheels/tires to after spring...

I read this as you could've changed the wheels, and if you never said anything, she wouldn't have noticed. Remember, it's always better to ask forgiveness than permission.

Lol, she would have noticed at some point. Trust me, I've been married 13+ trouble-free years for a reason. I can pretty much get what i want, so no need to be sneaky. I will need new rear tires soon and at that point, I'll get a new setup...

So we took the Vagon to the beach this weekend and man, I love the car even more. As good of a beast as it is, it is also an incredible cruiser. The car is SUPER quiet on the highway and cruises with ease. The best thing about it is that a slight press on the accelerator and if will get up and go to get you around whatever... sometimes without even downshifting. Very easy to drive car and it worked out perfectly. When I took the Porsche to the beach it was an OK ride, but I only did it once. With this thing I can't wait to do it again! I will likely pick up a bra that I can put on it when making the actual trip since we usually head back in the evening, so that will save me from cleaning a lot of bugs off of the front bumper.

Oh, and I did fill up before heading out, then filled up again with about a 1/4 of a tank. So when I filled up I calculated MPG. Was 18.58mpg. So not terrible. Of course that's about 90% highway but still, I was happy.

Good to hear. I was hoping the mileage would be higher than the EPA rating on the highway. I was hoping on long trips to achieve around 20mpg but oh well. I will be making my first one in 3 weeks.

That's great JB! She's a great low revving cruiser indeed, but trust me, those traction gizmos are a big part of what makes her easy cruiser.

A couple more stories to my V saga.. I think I've isolated my fuel smell issue. There's a plastic fitting that cracks on the pump, it looks like this might be my issue since the injectors are fine. I'll see if I can epoxy / seal it before taking it in. Otherwise I'm guessing it's a pump replacement.

Also, noticed my lower fog light askew.. I barely touched it and the whole assembly flopped out. I pressed it back, but definitely not feeling secure about it. I'll secure it this weekend.

Lastly, this past week the radio hasn't been turning off when I open the door. No extra key fob in the car, etc. Sometimes it turns off a few seconds later, sometimes, 30 seconds later, even with everyone out of the car and doors locked.. it's still blasting. A little research says it might be the door latch / sensor. I'll be addressing it this week as well. Today I manually turned off the radio, but the lcd stays on.

In all though.. super minor in comparison to how much I love driving this car. It's probably going to get me in a lot of trouble though.

^ Glad to hear you're getting everything straightened out. It really is hard to stay out of trouble, especially with how this thing cruises. I kept the cruise control at about 8-9mph over as to not speed too much, but a few times I found myself increasing it. Next thing you know I'm cruising at 85mph in a 70mph and had to back it down. You really don't feel the speed and you need to pay attention to that speedometer!

Not sure how you head out out to the beach but we take 74 out to 401 which turns into 701... to 9 which dumps you onto 17S. At the beginning part of 74 there are a few towns so it's a little bit of stop and go. Little town on 401 as well. I tried not to mash the throttle when going through them if I got stuck at a light, but I think if it was a straight highway shot I would have been over 19mpg. I was hoping it would be at least as "good" as my FJ mileage and it was a bit better, so overall I'm pretty happy. It's not the 26-27mpg I was seeing in the Porsche, but again, completely different animal. So overall, I was pleased
