I shoot people
so, finally got around to experimenting using BOTH tilt AND shift at the same time... it really should be done while the camera is mounted on a tripod, but I didn't have one at the time. I always tend to go back to the Vancouver Public Library to do experimental shots (with the tilt/shift), especially since it's been raining a lot lately

When I think of tilt/shift I think of cars, people and stuff looking like miniatures. What is it doing to the above shot? I don't know much about it obviously. Have you watched the title sequence to The Late Show with Steven Colbert? It looks like it's filmed in tilt shift plus some other crazy computer animation I would guess. It's freaking awesome.

Speaking of shots that should be done on a tripod... My friend/business associate needed me to run over last minute on Wednesday evening to get a few shots of this new house for Modern Builder magazine. Had to do this hand held. Came out pretty good considering the circumstances.
