Andy suggests to not use Teflon tape to screw the gauge onto the fuel gauge unit. Use Teflon paste instead. It will keep you injectors from clogging when it gets into the fuel system.

Reservoir and radiator now installed. It’s a good idea to use rubber prices between the metal parts of the radiator and bracket.

Remove those two bolts, x4 bolts connecting the mount to the subframe, and finally the single top bolt. use a price od wood and an emergency jackstand under the oil pan to keep the engine in place.

After sawing the incoming fuel line to size, I cleaned the lumen out with watered Qtips. Following by an oiling with a oilanated Qtip.

I lube all the surfaces of both sides with fresh motor oil for smooth entry.

Had a minor fuel leak when testing the upgraded fuel system. This 90 coupling had a leak right there. I untightened/retightened and it sealed well. To test the fuel system: With the key in the ignition turn your key to the setting just before starting your car. You will hear a Vrrr-ing of the fuel pump in the rear. This will prime the fuel lines.

After making the final cut in the 9-AN line I cleaning it with a watered Qtip to remove any debris that may clog the injectors. I keep a piece of tape on every opening for the same reason.

I removed the windshield washer fluid reservoir to create more ventilation for the Rotrex oil radiator. The unit blocks half of the Rotrex radiator aswell.
