Looking to list my ZDX on Autotrader and was wondering what the market would be for my 2012 ZDX. It's Black on Black with only 13,xxx miles. In outstanding condition. Also, would include a Curtis tow hitch.

What are some of the other specs EK711? Is this a tech or advance? Running boards? Etc...

 

Hmm, I see 'asking' prices can vary a lot on used Zs. ? But I think it'll be quite a price hit, esp if an Advance. Accessories might help it sell faster, but I don't think will add much to price. I see $38k for a 12 Tech with 5k miles. I see an Adv 12 with 7k mi for $41. Your miles are high for a 12 compared to most I see on Autotrader, many are brand new. I think you could get $40-43 depending on Trim, and more if you have time to wait. Depends on your market's supply.

 

Thanks for the responses. It's a Tech package. Only additional accessory is the tow hitch.

Can I ask why you are selling? Did you enjoy the Z?
Most here seem to be selling, few are buying.
I've been wanting one but Adv models are hard to find in my state.

 

Looks like I'm about to become a father.

This is the better halfs car and she thinks putting a newborn into a car seat through the rear doors is less than ideal.

 

Regarding the ZDX. We loved it. Drives and handles great and the best interior for an Acura that we've ever seen. On par with the BMW and MB that we've had in the past....sometimes even better.

Would keep it if the rear doors were larger and there was a bit more cargo space.

 

Congrats on the baby. You could name your new baby Zach or Zelda. ha.

We are expecting a baby too and believe that the ZDX rear space is quite good for a child seat (I hope its true cus we are getting 2nd ZDX for the wife :P)

 

Wifey and I just had a kid 3 months back. I have a baby seat behind the drivers seat in the ZDX. It fits just fine once inside but it is a little awkward getting the car seat in and out through the narrow rear door opening. We use the CR-V for primary baby duties much more interior space inside...!

 

Yea that's what my wife is complaining about. Her car would be the primary baby mover.

So I took the Zdx to Carmax and they gave me a quote of $35k. Talking to the guy there, he said Carmax tries to make $3-5k on each car so if I found the right buyer in a private sale he said I should be able to get around $38-40k. Seems to be right. We're headed to the dealerships this weekend to see what kind of trade-in they'll give us. I'll keep you guys updated.
