Paddle Shifting

I started using the paddle shifters and the engine sounds great! love how it sounds ! and not sure if you guys ever use it but I now love it! Its just another level of fun on these cars. Guess first gear is auto but after that while in “S” you paddle shift and it’s cool so on and off I will continue using it but if you kinda blew it off like I did just give it a try !

Don’t get me wrong, I’m a long time ‘stick-shift’ guy (my vintage car has ‘three-on-the-floor’ with overdrive), but if you floor the accelerator & hold it down, won’t you get the same engine sounds (auto trans shifts at power peak)? I think I’ve only used the paddle shifter to get up my steep driveway after a heavy snowfall.
