Chimes loud, through wrong speakers

This just started yesterday. Chimes are loud, and through the rear door speakers only. Turn signals are the most annoying, but it's also the "door open chime" and others. No idea why this happened or how or how to fix.

Try "hey google, show audio settings." Note that his has helped others, but my similar issue self-corrected after several power cycles, as in the next day or so. The thread "Chime Volume" would be helpful, as you can find links like this: https://www.cadillacforums.com/posts/18136698/
Note that when I issue the command "hey google, show audio settings, I recall finding 4 or 5 volume setting sliders that were otherwise unlabeled, so I couldn't tell what they controlled. Hope this is helpful!

On my car, the audio-setting voice command has been disabled by GM a few months ago and no longer works.

If the command does not work on yours, unfortunately there is no quick fix other than trying those deeper-sleep reset procedures.

I guess that is another incentive for you to get VWP. I don't recall encountering the loud-chime issue since VWP. There were maybe a handful of times the chime got louder out of the blue, but never obnoxious. BTW, the audio setting becomes accessible through the on-screen volume bar in the upcoming SQBR6 update

It looks like after a few driving cycles it is back to normal.

I experienced this issue a couple times quite a few months ago (I'm too lazy to check the thread for the date) but have not seen it since. I hope I don't see it again!
