have you called midas to see what they might charge? or even one of the honda dealerships? i took my lude and the wifes tl to pointe west honda to do two tranny drains and fills for reasonable price. i think west side wanted like 150 for the tl and pointe west only charged like 84 bucks or something.

Sanjay, yea I've made some research and they are pretty straight forward. Im scared of hammering the studs out. I don't want to end up bending some delicate parts. Lol

Gldcrzy, that's a good idea, Ill give them a call. Thanks.

If you need a stupid amount of force to pound the stud out to the point you bend something, you're doing it wrong

Hey guys I'd like to the foglight mod for my 2G that entails using an add-a-circuit, a 7a fuse and a diode that you hook into the driver's side fuse box and wire to the foglight button.

My question is, do you guys know a store in Edmonton that sells little electronic bits like these? I'd like to buy locally before wasting money on ridiculous shipping charges to order online.

there is a store where I got the small resistors for my switchbacks, it's called Electronic Connections or something like that. Look about 5-10 pages back I think I mention it somewhere. They would probably have it. it's on southside so prepare to go for a drive

Ok guys so I got an offer for the car, 15 500 with wheels, cash. I am on the fense if I should take it or not. really need the money and all the other offers were for trades for random shit. Would that be an OK price? The guy says he's from Saskatchewan and that it would cost him an extra 2000$ to get OP inspection and register it over there. I can't make sense of it as to why it would be that much but I never got a car from another province.

Ricky, how much did it cost you to get the car over here and register it and inspect it. PM me if you don't wanna say publicly.

trades I got so far,2006 rsx premium, not even type-s with 1000$ on top and with 114km and a 2004 lifted f150 haha oh and a 2001 325 bmw

Lol I have no idea what price an 05 goes for so unfortunately I have no useful input for that. Lmao at the rsx trade. That doesn't even make sense. Add $1000 on top so the original owner can downgrade?

05s go for 14-16 compleatly stock. Some even for 13. I think I can live with 15.5 but I just wanted to hear opinions on here.

And yea I was like WTF is wrong with you? You think that your stock RSX is worth as much as my TL? Are you fucking kidding me? And why would I downgrade to that for 1000$

i think thats a decent offer... but i highly doubt that it would cost him 2000 to do a OP inspection and registries. i think the most you can get out of a inspection is 300 dollars and the registries im pretty sure it would cost 300 MAX. try get another 1000 from him :P

He won't budge and it's 15500 with wheels. I'm at 150km now and that price corresponds to what I've seen on Kijiji. He wants it with wheels or not at all

@myron....sorry about the late reply, been on afternoon shift but it cost me about 200 for inspection (car was good) so i took that paper in after i got the insurance and got the plates. so just extra 200 for the inspection, everything else is the same...(plates and sticker fee BS)...15,500 is kinda a good price. u should talk him into low 16...tell him u did the timming belt (so no worrying until 250k) and other mods u put on...lol...then if not 15,500 is good...

so this is what i started doing on the start of my 2 week vacation

from this

to this... no full shot since i have too many cars in the driveway

theres a few messed up lines here and there since i did it myself instead of waitin for my buddy to come over but overall its not bad

on sat i polished and waxed the wifes car

and yes that is a Inspire exterior conversion and those rims were on the lude last year but im not driving it this year so i let her rock em

and then i did my car

[/img]http://i1193.photobucket.com/albums/aa349/gldcrzy1/IMG_20110702_170318.jpg[/img]

yes, those are bubbles that you see. they kept forming as it kept getting hotter outside yesterday but i got most of them popped and removed today with a needle

heres what that ram air looked like that me and myron made a whiles back with remnant piping from the stock resonator

and this is what i did today with it since i had to yank the bumper off since one of my lights went bad

all i did was remove on the the pipes that were added to make that ram air effect off and wedge that on and removed the stock filter up top. it does have a cold air sound when flooring but doesnt make that sucking sound like a normalo cai does...prolly cuz i dont have long smooth bends since its factory piping.

i did this also. i didnt do the front door since im expecting my door visors on wed... so no point and ill remove what i have to on the rear doors.

I give you props for the effort, i know from experience vinyling that large of a surface area is a pain in the ass and takes alot of patience, but I cant say that its something I like.

GldCrzy, good stuff, what happened to your fog light project?

Vincent, Myron car looks like it just got out of the dealership, I'm sure he does not want to sell it anymore.

yea it was hard on the lude. took like 40 mins by myself. the tl was 15 mins with my buddy. i guess it would be personal preferance, i like it since it changes the look a bit and acts like a hood bra at the same time.

here ya go. only mounted and not wired up yet. i cut my finger really badly in which i ended up going to get stitches afterward since my wire said it was really deep.

it wasnt too bad to mount, i didnt remove the bumper which made it easier to work on than straight on the ground. prolly when i wire it up ill remove the bumper to secure it even more. right now its only held on by one screw on each side. the trimming of the lower grills in my opinion sucked the most since im really bad at eyeballing how things should be trimmed so i say it has that "looks great from 5 ft "

^ that TL looks nice gldcrzy, I like the accord fogs, can't believe that the TL didn't come stock with them in those years.

Vincent detailed my car and it's awesome. It's making it really hard to sell the car. The guy said he's gonna come from Sask on Saturday to check it out and I hope it gets sold. Then I have to find a beater

I am trying to talk my parents into getting an SUV and selling me my 2G TL back. But it's not working really haha So I might get an integra as a beater and then get a new car next summer. I really like the 07+ MDX so that's something I am looking into. Or I might just go with a VW Touareg TDI. It's SUV time for me, I can't get a nice car and then watch it get destroyed in winter. And can't get 2 cars either so SUV is the way to go for me.
