Fucked 6 speed tranny, shop that did my clutch *may have* fucked up but I won't know till I open it up.

On a side note the six speed tranny for the CL or TL (if you do a swap) is incredibly rare, kinda cool until shit starts to break.

may take another month or so, kinda have to figure out the whole 2 grand for parts thing. The saddest part is I have a catback waiting to go on along with front component speakers, I may just wait till spring to put the exhaust on and try and pick up some other goodies during the winter.

I got the greddy evo 2 and can't wait to put it on.

BTW work has slowed down a lot for me so I have a lot more spare time if you want to meet up and do some of that work before it snows

Ya man acctually if the weather holds up it'd be great to get it done! Should be pretty str8 forward. Haven't decided what to buy to clean the EGR yet. And I think I need to pick up a set of allen Keys for the coil packs. What days are you available?

Saturday I have nothing going on if you want to do it then, as for product to clean the erg, I would grab a can of carb cleaner or something stronger but the same if you can find it. Oh and a pack of cheap tooth brushes or some wire brushes would be better.

i've already put in a fujita CAI, DC sport headers, Magnaflow Cat back, throttle body spacer, front cross drilled rotor's, have the rear ones too, not installed yet, hawk pads waiting to be installed as well, 6000k hid in the fogs, tinted tails, tinted all windows, type R 12" sub and changed out all the speakers, 18" 5 dual spoke rims and to finish it off, a new air freshener! :p i defo need to lower her, maybe in the spring, don't wanna break the from lip off in the winter,

Haha, I think i'm going to have to park my car and drive the SUV all winter. I was gonna put winter on my stock wheels but after the tranny troubles I can't afford the $1200 for winters! Oh well, better for her anyway.

get some used winter tires.. some places sell really good ones like X ice with 60+% tread left for 60-80 each installed!!! i know this place in edm had a bunch of em, for $70.. they were 16s tho... re run tires if u wana know..

after the snow today, i get my Blizzak LM-60s (245/40/19) installed Tuesday for a 'low, low cost' of 1400, locally they usually go for 1600 for the set due to my low profile tires/demand so I guess I can't complain.

Yeah, I have all seasons I guess, but these are going in the garbage since they have like 30% tread. Amazing tires though, Toyo Proxes FZ4's.
Then new summers in the spring, along with a Racing header and a chip hopefully.

Got my Blizzak LM-60s on a couple days ago. Thank god as it's going to snow this weekend apparently.

Now next up are the Tein Coilovers, Takeda Intake and Cat Testpipe! Hopefully I get a patch of decent weather after the weekend to do a couple of these!

What sort of chip are you running or planning to run?

I'm jealous, I want the tein set up soo bad but will probably go with k sports for now. are you doing the full exhaust or just the test pipe for now.

I'm just doing the test pipe for now - I like the original look of the quad exhaust TBH.

Got 30% tints done on my fronts, and ordered the Test Pipe, Takeda SRI, HID Kit for my fogs, and a 9500ix today. I've got 4 photo radar tickets in the past 2 months - I figured I needed to invest in a good detector with GPS rather than a POS BestBuy Cobra.

Probably going to leave the Tein SS setup until March/April when the weather clears up.
Spent too much money this month with mods/winter tires, and if I do the want to go all the way with the EDFC as well.

I think it's EDFC or bust... There's nothing that comes to the control it gives you.

I got mine brand new online for $515 shipping included.

GUYS NEED HELP.

Just got my 9500ix today. New sealed box. Updated it, and mounted very low so the unit has clear view of the sky.

I've been driving around all day but can't seem to get a GPS lock.... just keeps flashing, and flashing, and flashing!

Do you think the cloudy weather today MAY have had something to do with it?

The clouds shouldn't have affected anything buy you can never be sure, I would go to their web site and send their customer support an email asking them as well as the place you bought it from.

If that doesn't get you anywhere let me know and I'll help you out

Called technical support - they told me to send it in for repair. Place I bought it from told me I'd have to send it in for repair via Escort. Problem is I already unmounted my Cobra and ripped the wires out.... I'd have to order new cables in so I'm SOL for that period of time.

Got the unit hardwired too. The Mute Button and Lights were installed in a spare button next to my TCS button.
