Wrinkles in Leather

Hi

I have noticed some wrinkles on the driver seat of my car. I am pretty sure that they weren't there last week. Any ideas/products that you guys can suggest to remove the wrinkles?

thanks in advance

my brother just told me to dewrinkle leather, you put it in the refridgerator and it will compress back, but i dont know how you can apply that to the seats, maybe put ice on it or spray the antiduster thing upside down? PLEASE CORRECT ME IF IM WRONG, IM JUST STATING WHAT MY BRO SAID AND THEN GAVE A REASONABLE IDEAR.

NSH, once wrinkles have established themselves, your pretty much finished. Its natural signs of wear /tear, and lack of conditioning is probably the culprit. Once there there, there nothing that can be done other than recondition to avoid future problems.......

I have the same problem, i have had the car less than a year and for wrinkles in the seat, that is unacceptable... you think Acura would replace the seats???

Theres really nothing wrong with it, its sort of like the wrinkles on your skin, just stress points, and the wrinkles alleviate the chance of it tearing...Acura will probably tell you the same thing, normal wear and tear will attribute to it......Condition monthly to help deter further damage.....

Well my wrinkles appeared quite rapidly; literally in the course of a week. If there is truly no way to get rid of them, i guess i better invest in some Lexol

Well I haven't conditioned it yet since the car is literally 2 weeks old. The wrinkles appeared a few days ago; I suspect I might have accidently spilled some water inside.

NSH, just recondition it, it will bring it back to life, and do so every 4-6 weeks......

I tried 'em all! At least all the ones I listed @ - http://www.acura-tl.com/forums/showthread.php?t=87583
Mothers is a very good leather conditioner. It makes leather feel very soft and supple, it's worth the asking price - about $6-7. Maybe it is not a premium level conditioner, but very close. Their cleaner is the strongest, and still safe. Try is yourself. Waxstation.com would be a good choice - it's the cheapest place for it you will find.
