How often do you condition your leather?

Quick poll, everyone: how often do you condition your leather, whether using Lexol, wipes, or what have you? Just got my TL (my first car with a leather interior) last week and I want to make sure I'm treating the leather right, but not so often that it starts to look/feel bad.

Your thoughts?

I do it weekly. Since it is black, I can't afford to have wear signs, cracks, etc... Takes only 15-20 mins to do with Lexol.

I clean and condition mine about once a month with Lexol wipes. In between, I use some Meguires wipes to condition the seats once a month (so, it's more of a biweekly process). I really like the Lexol products... I'm only using the Meguires because, I don't want them to do to waste (I got them before I knew about Lexol).

I'm very happy with the Meguire's wipes--about once per 1.5 months. I haven't yet tried Lexol, though. Isn't there a separate cleaner and conditioner for Lexol, meaning that you have to do things twice, or am I thinking of another product?

I should add that Meguire's tends to go on a little "shiny," so I wipe with a soft towel afterwards.

I bought my '02 TL-P used, and I haven't conditioned the seats yet, although I do have the Meg's wipes. After seeing this thread, I think I'm gonna do the leather tmmrw

I use a cleaner and conditioner once a month. I use a Product called Tanner's Leather Preserve and I love it. I never use wipes or anything thats cleaner/conditioner together, thats just being lazy.

You don't have to use the cleaner everytime you use the lexol conditioner. I would think you need to condition more often than cleaning the leather.

I have been reading around and folks have been saying that our seats have a thin layer of vinyl on them and that we should be using vinylex, not leather conditioner.... is this true..???

once a month I use a good leather cleaner (4 Star Ultimate line) and a good conditioner (again 4 Star) -

then weekly when I wash I use Poorboy's natural look to wipe down the leather.
