I cannot wipe the grime off my windows. I have the 04 TL and I feel like I am a smoker(I am not) there is a build up on the interior of my windows and I cannot get it off. Any recs???

 

Try using Stoner's Invisible Glass which is available in most auto part stores. Also try using microfiber towels. They can clean windows without using any chemicals or water.

 

Also might want to try newspaper (b&w) if the MFs don't cut it. The ink in the newspaper helps the cleaning action. Just be careful if you're using the newspaper for the front or rear windows as it tends to crumble and rip up as it gets saturated. Don't want those bits in places where you can't get them out.

 

Careful with newspaper, the ink can get on places you dont want it to get to.......

 

What is happening is called "out-gassing". The materials the make up the interior are releasing gasses when it gets warm inside the car and collecting on the internal surfaces, glass being the most noticable. You can try to slow it down the settling of the gasses on the interior by leaving your windows cracked just a hair of opening the sunroof in the tilt position.

No way to stop it from happeneing but keeping up on cleaning the windows is the best you can do. Just the nature of the beast.
