water spots and bird poop etching...

a friend of mine just bought a 2007 lexus is 250, and brought it over to my garage....i was in shock when i saw it, never mind that fact that its got moderate/heavy swirling and scratches all over the car, its got some really nasty water spots and some serious bird crap etching on the hood and roof...

i tried a quick pass with an orange pad and some pinnacle swril remover, which worked great on the swirls, but with two passes on the bird crap, it seemed to smooth it out some, but its still there...

what is a good combo for this, if it can be removed at all...i dont have any pics, but its some good old fashioned bird crap etching that you can feel with your hand....i am guessing i am going to need something more then what i have on hand!

Your going to have to cut the etching down to below level of the clear surface ... if there is enough clear to do that.

How comfortable are you with wetsanding? If the OPHC or OPC doesn't work, you might have to resort to it.

vinn .. you could try Megs #105 if you can get it locally ... orange pad ... and yes you can cut it down below the etch level with a UDM .. just takes a bit of time.
