cleaning leather
i have tire marks. had tires sitting in my back seats for a few days and they have stained my rear leather in my 03 tl. its tan leather and the stains arnt dark but noticeable. ive tried multiple leather cleaners, simple green, speed ball, and other house hold cleaners. they have lighted the stains a bit but have not removed them. any tips? what else can i use? steam clean?

Yeah, I would be hesitant to use too much vinegar... though it can definitely work, it is pretty drying to leather. Ammonia can also work, but it isn't safe for all leather dyes/finishes, so again, use with extreme caution... I think the hot/warm microfiber is definitely your safest bet to start out
What leather cleaners have you tried?
If you are going to use soap, I recommend either a glycerine or castille soap. They are milder (more leather-friendly pH) and won't dry out the leather as much. I personally like Dr. Bronner's peppermint castille soap for cleaning my leather stuff. It's not fancy, but it's cheap, and gentle, and works.

I really wouldn't... that stuff is very abrasive. Maybe, maybe on light parchment/taupe interior... but I can't see it not affecting the leather's dye/finish.
A good rule of thumb for leather: leather is skin. If you would not put it on your face, do not put it on leather. (So mild soaps/cleansers, UV protection, "lotion"/conditioners = okay. Anything harsh or very abrasive = not okay.)
