Wash after tint?

Sorry if this has been posted before, but is it detrimental to wash the car (exterior) a day after the windows have been tinted?

I believe you should be fine. The tint is on the inside, right?

The tint shop here said to avoid rolling the windows for 4-5 days afterwards, and washing the windows. I assume they meant the insides of course but I didn't wash anything for a week just to be safe.

The tint is on the inside of the windows. There is no harm in washing the OUTSIDE of the windows bro. The commong thing with tint is do not roll them down for x amout of time and do not attempt to clean the tint for x amount of time. That's what they meant.

I was just concerned that maybe some water would seap in at the bottom or top of the window frame. It wound up raining anyway so I didn't have much choice but I appreciate all the advice

Not to hijack, but what kind of pro glass solutions are you fellas using for your tinted windows? Non Ammonia based that is.
