Turtlewax Ice Review

I'm a Zaino fan to the fullest. I have their entire line of products from the glass polish to the tire shine. I've used Zaino for the past three years and love their products.

His weekend, I decided to try out the new Turtlewax Ice. This product is AMAZING. I never expected "turtlewax" to make such a great product. It's really easy to use and required no real manual labor. (I'll post pics as soon as i'm able to)

Fist of all, it comes with an applicator and micofiber cloth. Apply the product onto the applicator and gently rub it on the car. After 3-5 minutes, buff it off with the microfiber cloth. What used to take me 2 hours with Zaino took just 5 minutes. The car looks like i put a day's worth of Zaino into it.

I want to see how long it lasts and how durable it is. I'll keep u posted. Any of u guys try Ice? Let me know how you like it.

Good find Jackie .... very honest review by someone in the detailing business. I agree with his statement about the word "polish" and how it is used as a marketing ploy. It's bookmarked for future reference. Thanks!

That's me.

I go by "picus" on every forum but this one. Why? When I signed up here stupid IE autofilled all my wifes info into the sign up page. Before I even realized it I had three posts so I just stuck with it! :/

Some guys on bimmerforums are saying that they are getting more than two weeks with ICE. I only have the sample I received but in the event that it's somehow bad I am going to grab a real off the shelf bottle and re-test just to make sure.

That was a great find! I guess ICE is a quick and dirty way to get ur car shiny. I'm sticking with Zaino.

From TurtleWax.com

"Turtle Wax ICE goes on clear and stays clear - Offering shine and protection for up to 6 months or 20 Car Washes!"

I'm a p21s boy for now.

I kinda figured it was you after I saw the avatar. None the less still an honest, objective review.

how about first apply Zaino Z-5 polish on the car and then use turtlewax Ice for the 2nd layer to give a better shine and added protection?

anybody want to try this and let us know how they will compliment each other?

^^^I haven't tried it before. I have always followed Z-5 with Z-2. BUT, i have been putting the ICE on my front bumper for extra protection after multiple layers of Z-2 & Z-5. I find that it's protects the bumper better from bugs, etc.
