I have an 09 TSX that's only a few weeks old. What should I use to clean the black "alligator dashboard"? I used Meg's Vinyl/Rubber and it looks great initially, but I am getting a white discoloration on the part of the door where I rest my arm (and yes, I bathe frequently). I had PB Natural Look in my hand, but the salesman talked me out of it. Told me to only use water as products can damage the protectorant applied by the factory over the long haul. Is this true? If not, what should I use to clean the dash? Thanks for all the help!

 

I use 303 aerospace protectant on my whole interior and I dont have any fade or discoloration marks.

 

Use Woolite & water mix to clean ( see the link in my web page ) and I use either Meguiars #40 or 303 to protect.

 

303 or Optimum Protectant Plus......

 

what exactly is an alligator dash....

 

Kind of like that rippled appearance. Not smooth in appearance.
