touchless car washes
touchless car washes
once in a while if drive through bad rainstorm etc and car gets real dirty i will take it in to a touchless car wash. these don't scratch car. only downside is soap they use i am sure strips some of the wax. however i wax monthly or every six weeks on average so not a big deal to have a little wax come off. it is a whole lot more convenient then taking out the bucket. any other negatives from these washes?

I prefer 'touching' washes... something involving me, a nurse and a spounge.. but seriously now that the days of those evil evil evil wire like plastic brush washes are gone (i havent seen one in ages) most modern touch car washes are okay in my book. As long as they use soft brushes and not those plastic or hard rubber ones.
I find that touchless washes are okay for when your car is mildly dirty, like if it just was rained on and thats it. But if you went through a mud puddle or your car is really skanky, like after driving on a dusty gravel road, that touchless washes dont do shit.

These washes are designed to clean the dirtiest of all cars, so the products they use are VERY VERY strong and not something I would want to take to paint of my car. But the same can be said for all places, however touchless are usually stronger as they need something strong to lift up and off the dirt, etc.
If you take good care of your car, avoid any type of car wash at all costs.
