someone puked in my car!!

so i was dd this weekend and driving home when one of my friends puked in the backseat of my car. i got all the chuncks out and cleaned the best i could with disinfectant wipes, but i need some advise. in the holes of the leather, there's like white stuff stuck in the holes. i tried using a toothpick to take it out, but it doesn't work to well. i also noticed today that the leather feels a bit stiff compared to the other seats. i'm assuming the leather is drying out or the acid in the puke combined with the wipes did something to the leather. my backseat is dry now after 4 days of airing my car out. any suggestion or recommendations on how i can clean this up? i'm assuming i should get some leather cleaner and conditioner...any brands you guys recommend??

please help. i'm sooo pissed right now!

First of all you should have had your friend clean the car. What were you thinking?

Why would the friendship be over?? If I threw up in someones car, i'd feel so bad about it, I'd pay to have it professionally cleaned , and I'd probably feel bad about for a long time. THis girl ALMOST puked in my car, but she told me to pull over just i time... ANd she felt bad even throwing up in front of me, and she said she would have felt sooo bad if she threw up in the car.

~One man’s opinion / observations~

a) Cleaning- apply a cleaning solution (Water /Woolite® or Dreft® 6:1 ratio or stronger) on to an applicator pad and apply to one area at a time (this will not harm the leather) then use a clean, damp Microfiber towel to rinse.

b) Conditioning-Leatherique Rejuvenator Oil - known for its ability to soften even cardboard hard leather, a complex blend of animal oils and proteins, Collagens and other beneficial ingredient, it will not stain or discolour leather. Simply massage into the leather with your hands, and let it be absorbed into the fibres, its' unique capillary action forces the oils and proteins into the leather.

Application Methodology:
Apply 3-4 ounces of the conditioning oil onto each of the seats with a light to medium pressure
Best applied to a warm surface to help the oils penetrate the coating (warm with the suns heat or a hairdryer)
Ensure complete coverage of surfaces, especially the seams
Allow sufficient time (preferably overnight) for the oils to permeate the coating and the leather underneath, and then buff the surface with a clean 100% cotton Microfiber towel.

~Hope this helps~
