Mr Clean All Purpose Cleaner spray bottle. Spray it on, give it a few minutes, scrub with a rag, and rinse with water.

after you scrub off all of the brake dust you should go over it with a normal soap to wash off all of the all purpose cleaner (APC). This is because the APC could damage your wheels if left on.

After you clean your wheels, I've used the ArmourAll Wheel Protectant. It seems to work well.

I would use a PH neutral cleaner. Use per directions, and scrub that shiz with a microfiber.

^ I've heard good things about all those

I tried AutoGlym custom wheel cleaner. Worked like a charm for me, but you need to spray a crapload of it on the wheels. Also, I'd recommend buying a wheel sealant or just wax the wheels when you're done as well so the brake dust doesn't get caked onto the wheels.

Mothers all wheel cleaner seems to do a good job. However instead of just spraying on and washing off, I usually take my wheels off one by one to get a good cleaning. I also use Armor All wheel protectant afterwards to make future cleaning easier.
