Hi guys

I just had XPEL PPF on my 22 MDX front end and full ceramic pro gold installed. Came out great. The installer told me I shouldnt use any chemicals on the PPF to clean the bugs from the front end - and just to use water and soap.

But Ive got through a lot of posts where people are using CarPro Bug-Out or GTechniq W8 Bug Remover on PPF/Ceramic coated cars - any one has any recommendations on whats a good one to use so i dont damage the PPF or ceramic coating? I live in a rural country area and do a lot of dusk and night driving - my car gets a lot of these damn buggers and its a pain to rub them off with water and soap each time.

Use XPEL products.

I use XPEL Flawless finish PPF Cleaner which is a quick spray and wipe to get rid of bugs from the PPF. Between washes i also use XPEL Detailing spray - these are meant to be used on the PPF and they wont damage the film. I drive a lot at night and bugs are always going to be around but as long as your use these sprays and clean them off your car within a day or two at most you should be fine.

Tech

After a drive (not a day or more later) where I'd pickup a slew of bugs, I use a wet microfiber cloth and wipe the bugs off.
