Cleaning Seatbelts?

I have noticed that time has taken it's toll on my seatbelts in all of my cars, esp the MDX and the 7 with them being creme colored. What is the proper chemical/solution to clean them with as I don't want to damage my seatbelts in any way. Maybe 6:1 water to woolite? Highly diluted non-ammonia APC?

Hehehe, those are always tough ones...........If you have even a kitchen sponge, try a little warm water woolite mix, and just wipe them down. Usuall the weaves are so tight, it makes them difficult to clean. You certainly do not want to diminish the strength by adding steam or harsh chemicals.

would the woolite solution on a MF towel be easier or just use the sponge?

Honestly....the best process I've found for cleaning seatbelts is a power washer, no joke. Loop the belt through the outside of the door and go to town. I used it on my Santa Fe with its light gray seatbelts along with this Audi A4 with the cream color you mentioned.
