Isopropyl wipe down method-need help

Ok, So we are all learning on here every time we do a detail or read a thread, I still seem to be missing the whole alcohol wipe down.

When are we needing to wipe the panel down with the alcohol? before and after the polishing?

What is the mixture ration of the alcohol to water in the spray bottle, or are we just using straight alcohol?

I use a 50/50 IPA/Distilled water mix in a spray bottle.

I use it after polishing (removes residuals and provides clean surface for sealant/wax).

Ok, is this primarily the only time its used?..... so its step is after polishing pretty much only.

Thanks I will pick up a bottle of it today.

Yeep ... like said above ... last step before I add the sealant. I also find that cleaned up like that it makes the sealant application easier, #21 anyways.

I also use it occasionally when I have stubborn windows to clean and I end upseeing streaks in the sun .. just a slight mist on a lint free cloth does it.

Interesting... the whole "windows" rabbit hole I have yet to even dive into yet... When you clay the outside of your glass, do you seal it with anything after?
Or just a good clay and wipe down?

I feel ya, although I did clay the glass on the doors last year on my first full correction and detail and felt like it pulled out some contaminants and added some gloss back to the glass, could be placebo, but for real I felt I noticed a 20% difference in the glass... who knows.
