Lightbulb Ice Liquid Clay Bar How To?

I bought some ICE liquid clay bar on the weekend hoping it will remove the swirls in my paint. Anyways it came with a sponge applicator and pretty much said put the product on the sponge and rinse your car off and wash your car with it and then rinse it off. Now what I don't understand is I did that but didn't notice anything. Swirls are still there. Did I have to leave it for a few minutes so it drys in and then rinse it off?

I'm not sure what that is, but claybars don't remove swirls. they remove dirt trapped on the paint.

look, its nothing more than a gimick and marketing to sell junk, and thats what it is junk...

you cant remove swirl marks without using a machine with polish that will polish out the marks....period...you might beable to remove some very light marks by hand with the correct polish, but a machine like the udm or pc is the minimum required to remove swirl marks...

products that claim to remove swirl marks like the turtle wax ice clay bar is nothing more than a filler, it trys to mask the marks by filling them in...as soon as you wash your car, they come back....

didn't notice anything
Now you know why its not really an Acurazine approved product.............
Not only will it not remove swirls (although it may hide some due to the fine abrasives it carries), it doesnt remove a whole lot of contaminants either....

first of all it shouldnt even be called a clay bar because it does not remove any contaminants what so ever. all it will do is hide your problem. i suggest just taking the plunge for a UDM its pricey but affordable and you wont need to worry about miracle products. the only thing that will get your swirls out is hard work.

...and never buy anything by turtle wax ever again

I respecfully disagree. Rocks, whether from this forum or any other forum, are too harsh on the finish and should not be used to remove swirls.
