How to use a buffer

Hi,
I bought a Porter Cable 7424 about 2 months ago and I have not had the balls to try it out on my tsx. I fear that i will do it wrong on some way and somehow perminately damage my paint. Is there a video online somewhere on how to use a buffer, how long until you move to another location? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I don't know of any online videos, but you can order a DVD entitled "How To Use The PC For Showcar Results". As far as online tutorials, here are a few others; Paintcare-n-Detailing, "Porter Cable for Beginners" and "Using the G100" which is a PC built exclusively built for Megs.

I wouldn't be to concerned, I used my Porter Cable for the first time last week and it was no problem. You would have to try very hard to damage your paint with this buffer.

In my previous post, I mentioned I did not know of any online videos regarding the use of a PC. Well, I was wrong. Click here and scroll towards the bottom of the page. You will see a green colored rectangle and it will be titled "Learn How To Use The Porter Cable 7424". Hopefully this will give you a good start.

I believe there are also a few clips on autogeek that show basic application use of the PC.
