Just wash that section again. Since it's fresh, it should come right off. Be sure to use soap.

White vinegar. Wipe down the area with it on a clean soft towel. After that wash the car with car soap. Should do the trick.

I've got spots on my spoiler and it won't come off as well...I even tried claying it a few times but the clay just left additional marks (should have used more lubricant). But either way, the spots didn't come off. I'll go to the store to grab some white vinegar today and then I'll try it tomorrow morning before I wash the car.

Do I just blot the vinegar on the spots and let sit for a minute or do I just pour the vinegar on the spot?

Blot the spots. Make sure you get the area nice and wet. Let it sit, out of the sun for a few minutes the wipe off.

Damn! I tried to clay, then tried white vinegar and nothing seems to work! I'll post a pic of the spots when I get the chance, but looks like I can't get it out. Maybe I need to keep rubbing the clay on it...but I did it for a little while and it dosn't seem to do much. Any other suggestions? Dawn the whole car and start my Zaino treatment over again? Will Dawn even remove the Zaino?

Clay bar WILL work

Water spots will come off with a clay bar. Make sure you are in shade and a cool spot. Also be certain to use the clay mist; if you don't have the mist, go to Advance or Auto Zone and buy the Clay Magic brand kit (kit = clay bar and mister).

Mist the area and use the clay bar until the spots are gone; you may need to do multiple applications.

Sucks, the water spots couldn't be taken out by claying. I tried blotting with white vinegar, but it didn't help. Then I washed the car and tried to clay it....didn't help either (also used the soapy mix to lubricate it). What else can I try other than a full buff and wetsand?

Gsr, the waterspot may be under your Z so strip your Z off your spoiler and than try claying / vinegar if the waterspot was on your Z the Z quick detail spray woulda taken that spot off with minimal effort. If that works , great! But that means you need to do a better paint prep for your Z nextime. If it dosent work, read below.

It may be lightly etched into your clearcoat if it wont easily lift off. everything youve done , claying and such should have worked at removal if the spot was just sitting on your paint, check the spots out in some good lighting and run your fingernail over the spot, if you can feel the edges of the waterspot than its etched in. A light polish should be able to fix that pretty quickly no need to break out the sandpaper

Can't feel the spots, but they are there. Anyone have tips on removing Zaino? I am not going to just do the spoiler, I'm gonna remove the Zaino on the whole car and start all over. Will Dawn remove the Zaino?

Sounds like the waterspots ate through the clear. Time to see a professional detailer.

I'm quite surprised that it did considering I had 15 coats of Zaino...over a 1 year period.

But it's just weird...it's only on the spoiler...from the splatter patterns, it should've gotten on part of the trunk and the bumper. Unless it's different paint and different plastic on the spoiler.
