How to remove Zaino?

How do you remove all the many layers of Zaino on your car? I want to start over.

I thought I read somewhere that Dawn won't remove Zaino...is this true?

According to Sal Zaino...not even Dawn will strip Zaino! It's molecularly bonded to the clear!

Dawn does not remove Zaino. Polymers are not affected by dish soap.

You need to either use isopropyl alcohol or use a mild abrasive like, 3M Swirl Mark Remover.

Okay folks, the reason I wanted to remove the Zaino is that I got these stupid spots on my spoiler (more than one, as if something dropped and splattered). There is nothing on the trunk or the rear bumper, only on the spoiler. In anycase, I tried claying, nothing....tried white vinegar, nothing. I know the spots weren't on there as I put on my 15 coats of Zaino....but this happened after my last coat was put on. I was quite surprised that the clay didn't take it off...so I thought that I'd try to Dawn the whole thing and take off everything that I can. Haven't done that yet which is why I was asking.

Any ideas what to do to troubleshoot and remove these spots?

50/50 water alcohol mixture may get it off. if not just use an abrasive polish followed by a 50/50 water alcohol mixture to remove any remaining polishing residue. GSR i would highly recomend posting your problem with your waterspots at www.autopia.org very good community with alot of pro detailers that will def be able to find a solution to your problem.
