How to clean "scuff" marks on rubber dash?

07 TL. Got in my car this morning and noticed a couple of lines of scuff marks on the passenger side dash. The top part which appears to be rubber. I Had to squeeze an extra person in the car coming home from an oyster roast last night. I'm assuming it's from shoes. Not happy about it.

I've tried just wiping it with a wet towel, but that didn't work.

Any ideas?

Baby wipes and a little pressure have worked for me before in the past. It works especially great on the headliner as well with shoe scuff and pen marks.

Headliner? Waht is that? Sorry, I don't know the terminology. Probably should have said "hard leather" in lieu of "rubber" also.

to me the headliner is the cloth on the roof of the interior...not sure if thats the correct terminology. Hard leather? can you take a picture?

the headliner is the cloth on the interior roof of the vehicle.

I'm assuming that you have scuffs on the hard plastic on the bottom, towards the foot area.

BUY A MR.CLEAN MAGIC ERASER. They work great on hard plastic. Just be careful on soft surfaces with those, they could cause it the surface to peel.

Thanks. I will try it.

No, the scuff marks are on the top dash. Near where it says "SRS Airbag"

I can't tell if that's hard leather or some type of rubber. Would magic eraser damage that?

Oh hell. I think you may need to live with that. Do not use anything abrasive as it will just add to your woes. The best thing you could do is attempt to hide it......I dont think 303 will cover that, you may need something a little more sustaining like One Grands Do it All....

What amount of money would ease this pain?

At $100, I'd consider it a profit center

You rock, getting shoe scuffs on the headliner... I usually make her take her shoes off first...
