Help with "goo" removal

Greetings, friends!

I need some help in removing some kind of clear residue from my baby's paint. I originally thought it was tree sap, now I'm wondering if it might some kind of "super-glue" kind of dribble.

I've tried using "BlueMagic" Road Tar Remover on it....with no visible success. There was some of whatever this is on the window too.....and by VERY CAREFULLY using a razor blade together with the BlueMagic I was able to get that off. Needless to say, I'm not about to let a razor blade anywhere NEAR the paint. Any other ideas??

Thanks, ya'll!

umm paint thinner? on a painted car? it sounds kind of wrong. would it not hurt the finish? i was able remove tree sap with the clay bar easily and on my previous car i used 3M's adheive remover which was great.

I recommend simple mineral spirits - the primary ingredient of "Goo Gone", but at a fraction of its inflated re-packaged and scented glory.
