I got your reply to my PM about the duplicate threads. I deleted the other thread.

Maybe someone has heard of this stuff and will give you a reply, but I don't think they are a very big company so there may not be anyone here who has tried it.

There were a few posts on this product awhile back. IMO, I feel it falls into the same category as Nu Finish, FW1 and Wet Paint Glaze. The product is basically a cleaner/protectant and probably contains an additive like kerosene. Unfortunately the MSDS is not available and I've yet to see a protectant that lasts 5 years. Of course, if you care to try it, you could provide us with a review.

I recommend asking this on Autogeek.net or Autopia.org both are great detailing forums with a wealth of knowledge.

can you ask more specific questions?

Do you want to know what products we use? or what products you want recommended regarding waxes and polishes?

Do you have swirls? are you interested in a UDM or PC?

I experimented with another 5yr polymer by the name of Xzilon....And it did deliver, in a big way for about 2 months. Slickness SUDDENLY dropped off, and so did protection after about 2 months......Use what others have had success with. Or, bite the bullet and let us know your thoughts.

Yah I never trust the "this product will last" xx number of year products, there are just too many elements that decrease it's life. IE: DG #105 says it'll last at least one year before having to reapply more. I smell BS! Maybe after numerous coats? i dunno but for now nothing can last over a year if applied once imo.

My sealants are DG only since it's so easily accessible. I have 111, 105 and 101. Only one i've tried is the 111 / 101. We had 2 weeks of rain and the 111 held up good, and 101 I never really monitored so i cant comment on it.

105 will be a next season thing or if we get a break in weather i'll wash the car again and apply 105.

I just applied DG 601 and DG 111 this past week. Love the results. We'll see how long it lasts....... I may go for DG 105 next time around.

I currently have 3 coats of 111 on the car, hope it'll hold up for at least 4 months.. if it hits 5 i'd be happy with that, but i'm not counting on it.

The Ultima line is David Bynum's baby as well as the UDM. This wipe on/walk away product has gotten raves on the Autogeek forum. I don't know or think there is a downside other than being quite expensive @ $70 for 12 oz. Bottom line is if you're happy with what you're using now, stick with it. That said, my preferred sealant is UPP.

Hey Patrick, now that the cat's out of the bag. Does FS have any plans for a similar product (apply and walk away)?

ha in regards to the Ultima made by FS.. I think they did a comparison and the stuff inside (ingredients) were close to the same or very similar.

I currently have 2 coats of Wolfgang Deep Gloss Paint Sealant that I put on last week. It went on really easy and came off even easier! Now the true test will be how well it lasts. I was looking at the Ultima Line as I have some X-mas money to throw around ha,..ha..!
